FormsParade Entry Form

We are getting organized for another great Independence Day celebration and we want you to join us.  You will find a registration form enclosed.  Please complete the form and return it as soon as possible.

The parade route and time will be the same this year.  We will begin lining up at 9:30 AM for the 11:00 AM parade start.  We will line up in the area surrounding the Cannon Falls High School at 820 East Minnesota Street.  The parade starts at the East Side Park and travels west on Minnesota Street to Second Street, south on Second Street to Mill Street and from there we cross the bridge and head to the fairgrounds.  The route is approximately 1.5 miles long.

Many of our events, including the parade, are made possible through your financial support.  Your donations are vital to the success of our celebration. Please consider becoming a fair sponsor.  Sponsorship details are available by contacting the fair office or you may check out our website.  We can be found at www.cannonvalleyfair.org.

Commercial units (for profit businesses) will be required to pay a $50 entry fee.  All community, civic, individuals, and non profit groups are entered at no cost. A donation is always welcome, however!

Please be sure to let us know if you plan to have music or animals with your entry.  It is important that we know in advance so we can arrange the line up accordingly.  We don’t mind if you make a little noise, after all, this is a celebration.  Please let us know what your plans are so we can put you in a safe place.

Speaking of safety, that is a major concern during the parade.  Do not plan on throwing items into the crowd –a walker along the side handing items to the crowd is acceptable. However, water balloons will not be tolerated!

We need to have proof that you have insurance on your vehicle and animals.  Please include a certificate of insurance with your entry form.

Please plan on joining us for the 109th Cannon Valley Fair and the Grande Day Parade.
