Entertainment Set For 2011 Cannon Valley Fair

• The entertainment schedule for the 2011 Cannon Valley Fair in Cannon Falls has been set.
• Two big nights of car and pickup demolition derbies are planned. They will be Fri., July 1 starting at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 3 starting at 5 p.m. New this year for the July 3 derby is a mini van class.
• The well known local Band, Lost Highway, will perform on the entertainment stage on July 3 at 9 p.m.
• Extreme bull riding with a firemen’s tug-of-war will be featured on Sat., July 2, at 7 p.m. Harness horse racing returns on Monday, July 4, at 2 p.m.
• A battle of bands will take place on Thurs., June 30 at 7 p.m. at the grandstand.
• Youth horse show, District 6 Holstein show and Ayrshire show will return as will the kids pedal tractor pull and BBQ cookoff. Ronald McDonald will roam the grounds on July 1. The ranch rodeo will be July 3.
• Crescent City Amusements will be on the midway starting on June 30 at 6 p.m. A parade will be at 11:30 a.m. on July 4. Fireworks will close the fair at dusk on July 4.
